なつかし香港映画:"Young Hero Of shaolin"(1984:Shut Bo-Wa)

「なつかしの香港映画ブログ」Fong Sai Yuk (Shut Bo-Wa) trains kung fu at Shaolin Temple and confronts strong enemies. Female kung fu masters are also attractive.

1. Fong Sai Yuk (Shut Bo-Wa)
A man whose life has been targeted since he was a baby. He is destined to fight.
(He has appeared in the sequel to this, but he hasn't appeared much in the movie.)

2. Miu Chui Fa (Chen Yong-Xia)
Sai Yuk's brave mother and also a kung fu master. She confronts an evil man who has come to disturb Sai Yuk's birth celebration.
(She has appeared in the sequel to this, but she hasn't appeared much in the movie.)

3. Fong Tak (Du Xiong-Wen)
Sai Yuk's wise father. He has no scene to use kung fu.

4. Wu Mei (Chi Ke-Chuan)
Master of Miu Chui Fa. She is a kung fu master who is good at kicking.

5. Abbot
Shaolin monk. He protects Sai Yuk.

6. Xiaohua (Zhang Hua)
A poor girl who lives near Shaolin Temple. Sai Yuk gives her food secretly.

7. Li Bashan (Chui Ngai)
A fighter who is confident in his kung fu skills. He is challenged by Sai Yuk.
(He has appeared in the sequel to this, but he hasn't appeared much in the movie.)

8. Blackmailer
An evil man. He appears at Sai Yuk's birth celebration and demands "Give me 500 silver coins". Miu Chui Fa and Wu Mei try to repel him.

9. Lui Hung (Guo Liang)
Blackmailer's evil disciple. He hosts a rough fighting tournament to hurt fighters and appeal his abilities. In the final battle, he confronts Sai Yuk.
(He has appeared in the sequel to this, but he hasn't appeared much in the movie.)

10. Storyteller
The monk who appears at the beginning of this movie. He tells his young disciples about "Fong Sai Yuk".

なつかし香港映画:"Call Me Doragon"(1974:Bruce Leung & Kurata Yasuaki)

「なつかしの香港映画ブログ」A mysterious man fights bad guys in an evil town. Kung fu movie featuring "Bruce vs. Kurata". With also some comical scenes.

Cast
1. Dragon (Bruce Leung)
Mysterious man and also a kung fu master. He is always fighting his enemies because he doesn't forgive bad guys.
(Kung fu star with a name like Bruce Lee. He is also famous in Japan for "G-Men 75". In "Kung Fu Hustle" (2004), he played a strange kung fu master.)

2. Boys (Mang Hoi (left), Hon Kwok-Choi)
They happen to meet Dragon and travel with him.
(Mang Hoi: He is famous for his role as a special forces member in "Heart Of Dragon" (1985). Hon Kwok-Choi: "Fist of Fury" (1972), "Master With Crack Fingers" (1978), etc.)

3. Eagle (Wong Wan-Si)
Female kung fu master. She is hired by villains who were sanctioned by Dragon, and challenges Dragon.
(This is her movie debut. In "Mr. Vampire" (1985), she played a rice shop owner's wife.)

4. Jaguar (Kurata Yasuaki)
A villain with a "Tibetan treasure". He fights with Dragon. There are also comical scenes where he is chased by an electric scooter and his clothes are burned with a magnifying glass.
(Japanese actor and also a Hong Kong star. Karate is his weapon. "G-Men 75", "Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars" (1985), etc.)

5. Gangster boss (Chiang Nan)
A man who rules a town (a lawless zone where smuggling is a major industry). He tries to kill Dragon with Jaguar.
(Actor who has appeared in many movies. "Bloody Ring (1973)", etc.)

なつかし香港映画:"The Clones of Bruce Lee"(1977:Dragon Lee)

「なつかしの香港映画ブログ」Bruceploitation movie. Bruce Lee clones (Dragon Lee and others) sanction bad guys of Southeast Asia with kung fu.

Cast
1. Bruce Lee 1 (Dragon Lee)
Bruce Lee clone. He looks like Lee. His weapons are muscle and kung fu "mantis fists".
(Action actor who has appeared in many kung fu movies as a "Lee imitator". He has starred in works which resemble "Fist of Fury" (1972).)

2. Bruce Lee 2 (Bruce Le)
Clone. He's a little smaller than Bruce Lee. His weapon is the kung fu "monkey fists".
(Action actor longing for Bruce Lee. He has appeared in numerous films such as "Bruce and Shaolin Kung Fu 2" (1978) or "Bruce's Fist of Vengeance" (1980) as a "Lee imitator".)

3. Bruce Lee 3 (Bruce Lai)
Clone. He looks like Lee, but has a bad hairstyle. His ability is a little inferior to Bruce Lee 1 and 2.
(He has a little experience in movies)

4. Professor Lucas (Jon T. Benn)
Ordered by SBI (a police-like organization), he makes clones of Bruce Lee.
(Actor who is famous for playing the mob boss in "The Way of the Dragon" (1972). Also pay attention to the last line in this movie.)

5. Kung-fu instructor A (Bolo Yeung)
A man who teaches kung fu to clones. While praising the clones, he gently watches over them.
(Muscular villain "Bolo" in "Enter the Dragon" (1973). He often plays a villain who is strong but is easily defeated in the end. "G-Men 75" and others.)

6. Kung-fu instructor B (Chiang Tao)
A man who teaches kung fu to clones.
(Villain actor who has appeared in many Taiwanese kung fu movies)

7. Colonel Colin (Andy Hannah)
Agent of SBI (Special Branch of Investigations). He plans to use Bruce Lee clones to destroy villains.

8. Chuck (Bruce Thai)
A local SBI agent. He backs up Bruce Lee 2 & 3's mission.
(He imitates Bruce Lee with sunglasses. But when he removes his sunglasses, he doesn't look like Lee at all. His movie appearances are only two. Who the hell is he?)

9. Chai Lo (Leung Siu-Wah)
Abusing his position of the movie producer, he smuggles gold. Bruce Lee 1 sneaks into his movie company as an actor and looks for evidence of his wrongdoing.
(Actor who appears in kung fu movies, etc.)

10. Dr. Ngai (Kim Kuk-Hyeon)
A mad scientist who lives in Bangkok, Thailand. He makes strange drugs and makes big money. Bruce Lee 2 & 3 chases him with Chuck. The clones are attacked by the strange bronze human he created.
(Although his real face is pretty handsome, he has only appeared in three movies. He could not get only a strange role like this movie?)

「なつかしの香港映画ブログ」A true story about Bruce Lee (Ho Tsung-Tao) who struggled in the United States and died suddenly in Hong Kong.

Cast
1. Bruce Lee (Ho Tsung-Tao)
A man who had a hard time in America. He returns to Hong Kong and becomes very popular as a kung fu movie star.
(Action actor and also a Lee's fan. He played the leading role in "The New Game of Death" (1975), "Fist Of Fury Part II" (1977) and other films.)

2. Ip Man (Yip Chun)
Bruce's Sifu (Teacher). He recommends Lee to gain experience in the United States. The scene where he gives Lee his last lesson is impressive.
(Ip Man's son and also a kung fu master)

3. Motoyaki (David Chow Tai-Wai)
Japanese karate man. Angry after his students being hurt by Lee, he offers Lee a one-on-one confrontation. He is also a cunning man who tries to avoid a match against Lee by setting a trap.
(His movie works is only two)

4. Chinatown Boss (Leung Siu-Chung)
A man who arrogantly orders Lee "Obey my rules in the Chinatown".
(Martial arts instructor and actor who has appeared in many movies)

5. Little Unicorn (himself)
Lee's friend. He goes to the airport to meet Lee who is back to Hong Kong, and works with him.
(In "The Way of the Dragon" (1972), he played an unfriendly restaurant clerk.)

6. Chan (Chiu Chi-Ling)
Fighter. He wants to beat Lee and become famous, and applies for a single combat with Lee.
(A real fighter. He is good at showing powerful kung fu forms and scaring opponents. "Snake In The Eagle's Shadow" (1978), "Heart Of Dragon" (1985), etc.)

7. Worker (Mars)
Lee's fan. He is deeply moved by Having met Lee during his work. Then, Lee fights a group of Westerners who annoy workers.

8. Challenger (Fung Hak-On)

A man who lives in Shaolin Temple. He is young but a master of kung fu.

2. Ten Chi (Chang Yi)
Master of Pang Fei. He is imprisoned in a place where criminals reflect on their past behaviours deeply because he once abused kung fu. Pang Fei is ordered by him to find a traitor who is trying to trap Shaolin Temple.

3. Abbot (Yuan Shen?)
Old monk of Shaolin Temple. At Shaolin Temple, monks are killed one after another and valuables given by the emperor are robbed. He is too worried about that and suspects Pang Fei as the culprit for no good reason.

4. Chief Abbot (Ko Yu-Min)
A senior monk of Shaolin Temple. He becomes the new leader of Shaolin Temple and tries to arrest Pang Fei who has escaped from Shaolin Temple.
(Actor who has appeared in many movies. He is a "THE 18 BRONZE MEN" series regular.)

5. Hu Fa (Lu Ping)
A monk in the same rank as Yuan Fu. He tries to protect Pang Fei, who has been suspected by everyone.
(Actor who has appeared in many movies)

6. Yuan Fu's student (Polly Shang-Kuan)
She is worried about the future of Shaolin Temple. In the final battle she and Pang Fei fight enemies with kung fu.
(Actress who has appeared in many movies. In "THE 18 BRONZE MEN" (1981), she played the protagonist's fiance.)

7. Assassins
Shaolin issues a permit to assassinate Pang Fei. Then the assassins carry out an operation to keep Pang Fei off guard and attack him one after another. These scenes are big highlights of this movie, with some comical renditions.

The emperor's younger sister. She bothers Shaolin with her brother.

4. Chief Abbot (Ko Yu-Min)
A senior monk of Shaolin Temple. He watches over Shiao-Chieh.
(Actor who has appeared in many movies. He is a "THE 18 BRONZE MEN" series regular.)

5. Shaolin Bronzemen
At Shaolin Temple, those who have finished the training menu must take the test "Fighting the Bronzemen". "Bronzemen" painted in gold are masters of kung fu. If the challenger fails the test, he shall die.

6. The 8 Masters
A group of kung fu dojo masters who hate Shiao-Chieh. They repeatedly provoke Shiao-Chieh who has finished training at Shaolin Temple. In the battles, they are quite cowardly, use weapons and attack in groups against Shiao-Chieh who fights with bare hands.

7. Liu Lin-Fung (Chia Ling)
