なつかし香港映画:"Mr. Vampire"(1985:Lam Ching-ying)

Cast
1. Master Kau (Lam Ching-ying)
A unibrowed priest specialising in Taoist supernatural arts. His job is funerals and corpse management. He's a master of kung fu, but a little sloppy.
(He starred in the Bruce Lee movie and played a main role of "Mr. Vampire" (1985). "The Big Boss" (1971), "Heart Of Dragon" (1985), etc.)

2. Man-choi (Ricky Hui)
Kau's student. He is timid and tries to fight "hopping corpses" (vampires) with wisdom.
(He co-starred with Jackie Chan in "Project A II" (1987) and "Canton God Father" (1989). Hui Brothers comedy series, "To Hell With The Devil" (1982), "Aces Go Places 3" ( 1984), etc.)

3. Chau-sang (Chin Siu-ho)
Kau's student. He can do kung fu, but he loves mischief and is a hasty man.
(He is the older brother of actor Chin Kar-lok who co-starred with Jackie Chan in "Heart of Dragon" (1985).)

4. Yam (Huang Ha)
Businessman. He consults with Kau about his father's grave, which triggers the incident.
(Kung fu actor. He played the role of being beaten by Jackie Chan in "Drunken Master" (1978). "The Private Eyes" (1976), etc.)

5. Ting-ting (Moon Lee)
Yam's daughter. A girl who is crazy about makeup that she learned while studying abroad. She is cute, but likes mischief.
(Idol actress. Later she became an action star using kung fu. "The Champion" (1983), "Winners and Sinners" (1983), "Mr. Vampire" (1985), "Mr. Vampire II" (1986), "Iron" Angels "(1987), etc.)

6. Wai (Billy Lau)
A police inspector. Ting-ting's cousin. He is stupid, clumsy and arrogant. Man-choi and Chau-sang make fun of him, and a hopping corpse attacks and scares him.
(A humorous character indispensable to the "Mr. Vampire" series. He played a gangster's minion in Jackie Chan's "Canton God Father" (1989).)

7. Priest Four Eyes (Anthony Chan)
Kau's friend. He uses magic to control hopping corpses and transport them to their hometowns for burial. In the last battle, he fights a ferocious hopping corpse with Kau.
(Singer & actor. A member of "Wynners" (Hong Kong version "the Beatles"). He played the leading role in "Mr. Vampire Saga IV" (1988) and the tour guide in "Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars" (1985) ).)

8. Rice store (Wu Ma)
He loses a profit because of his stupid son. The store where Chau-sang came to buy because glutinous rice is effective for injuries caused by hopping corpses.
(He has appeared in many Hong Kong movies. His roles in "Half A Loaf Of Kung-Fu!" (1978), "Winners and Sinners" (1983), "Project A" (1983) were minor, but in "A Chinese Ghost Story" (1987), " Mr. Vampire Saga IV "(1988), "Canton God Father "(1989), he played important roles.)

9. Female ghost (Pauline Wong)
She loves gentle Chau-sang, but suffers from sad love.

10. Hopping corpse (Yuen Wah)
The dead body of Yam's father. It becomes black and dirty because of the wrong burial.
(He's from the same "Boys Peking Opera School" as Sammo Hung, Jackie Chan, and Yuen Biao. His action is first-class. He played unique gang boss in "Dragons Forever" (1988), an aide to the gang boss in "Police Story 3"(1992). "Enter the Dragon" (1973), "Kung Fu Hustle" (2004), etc.)
