1. King of Sabres (Sammo Hung)
An invincible man who is a master of saber (sword). He is always targeted by enemies who want to achieve fame.
(Jackie Chan's senior. He was offered a role by Bruce Lee and appeared in "Enter the Dragon" (1973). "Winners and Sinners" (1983), "My Lucky Stars" (1985), "Twinkle Twinkle Lucky Stars" ( 1985), "Project A" (1983), "Wheels on Meals" (1984), "Heart Of Dragon" (1985), etc.)
2. King of Spears (Lau Kar-wing)
A master of spear and also an eternal rival of the King of Sabres. He checks his skills against a killer. Every year they (King of Sabres & King of Spears) fight, but the result ends in a draw.
(Actor who appears in Sammo Hung movies. "Dirty Tiger, Crazy Frog" (1980), "Shaolin Temple" (1982), "Heart Of Dragon" (1985), etc.)
3. Ah Yo (Sammo Hung)
A boatman. He is a bright young man, and becomes a disciple of the King of Spears because of his good use of sticks.
4. Wing (Lau Kar-wing)
A young man who runs a greengrocer's shop. He is so bullish that he doesn't give in to thug's threat, but he can't do kung fu. That is why, he has no choice but to become a disciple of the King of Sabres.
5. Potato (Mars)
King of Spears' assistant. Weird hairstyle.
(Actor & Stuntman. He played Jackie Chan's friend comically in "Dragon Lord" (1982).)
6. Scarface (Leung Kar-yan)
A man who resents having lost to the King of Sabres & King of Spears 15 years ago. With his angry look, he vows retaliation for the wound on his face.
(Kung fu star. He co-starred with Yuen Biao in "Knockabout" (1979) and "TWO FINGER FIST" (1979). "Sleeping Fist" (1979), etc.)
7. Scarface's minions (Chung Fat, Lam Ching Ying, etc.)
Men attacking the King of Sabres & King of Spears.
(Actors who appear in Sammo Hung movies. They participated in "Enter the Dragon" (1973).)
8. Challenger (Karl Maka)
An overconfident man aiming for the King of Sabres. He misunderstands another person as King of Sabres and confronts another person.
(An over-acting comedian who often appears in Sammo Hung movies such as "Dirty Tiger, Crazy Frog" (1980). He is also famous in Japan because the "Aces Go Places" series was broadcast on TV.)
9. Thug (Hoi Sang Lee)
A strange eyebrow man who demands a "bouncer fee" in the market. He threatens middle-aged woman and Wing.
(An actor who plays a villain or a comical character. In "The Tower Of Death" (1980), he played a clumsy monk fighting an intruder.)
10. Master Rocking (Dean Shek)
It's unclear who he is, but he controls the town with two bodyguards. Ah Yo and he get into trouble because of a really stupid misunderstanding. Notice the scene where he is beaten by Ah Yo and his strange movement.
