なつかし香港映画:"Kids From Shaolin"(1984:Jet Li & Yu Hai)

「なつかしの香港映画ブログ」Two unfriendly families living in a Chinese village fight together to repel the bandits. Yu Hai & Jet Li's kung fu movie. 

Cast
1. Shaolin "dad" (Yu Hai)
The era of Ming Dynasty (1368 to 1644). He is a former Shaolin monk, raising children whose parents were killed by bandits.
(An actor famous for the "Shaolin Temple" series. He has also appeared in other films related to Shaolin Temple. His specialty is the kung fu "mantis fist".)

2. Shaolin "uncle" (Hu Jianqiang)
Shaolin "dad"'s younger brother. He wants to marry a Bao Shengfeng's daughter, but his hope don't come true.
(Regular in this series. He played a small role in "Shaolin Temple" (1982), but played a major role in "Kids From Shaolin" (1984) and "Martial Arts of Shaolin" (1986).)

3. Sanlong (Jet Li)
Oldest Shaolin son. He has a past in which his parents were killed by bandits. Protected by a gentle dad, he lives in peace now.
(An action star who became popular in the "Shaolin Temple" series. His wife is actress Nina Li. "Once Upon a Time in China" series, "Lethal Weapon 4" (1994), "Kiss of the Dragon" (2001), etc.)

4. Bao Shengfeng (Yu Chenghui)
The master of the Bao family. He wants a boy heir to be the successor to "Sword Martial Arts", but only girls are born. He is wary of the secret of the sword technique being stolen by the Shaolin family, and hates them abnormally.
(Regular of this series. In "Shaolin Temple" (1982), he played an evil warlord.)

5. Bao Yifeng (Ding Lan)
Daughter of Bao Shengfeng. She wants to marry Shaolin "uncle".
("Shaolin Temple" (1982), etc.)

6. Bao Sanfeng (Huang Qiuyan)
Daughter of Bao Shengfeng. She is aggressive and threatens the boys of the Shaolin family with "Sword Martial Arts".
(A martial artist. She married Jet Li after she appeared in this movie, but they were divorced.)

7. Bandits (Ji Chun-Hua, Sun Jian-Kui, etc.)
An evil group closely related to the Shaolin family. They use tricks to try to make the Shaolin and Bao families antagonize, or attack in groups. Pay particular attention to the man with a white face and the man who uses a disc-shaped weapon with a knife.
(Ji Chun-Hua: In "Shaolin Temple" (1982), he played the warlord's minion. Sun Jian-Kui: In "Shaolin Temple" (1982), he played the role of a Shaolin monk who uses a drunken boxing.)
